Every August in Sweden, as the late summer sun begins to dip lower in the sky, the country gathers to celebrate Kräftskiva—a joyful feast of tradition and togetherness. In this scene, an antique white table stands ready beneath paper lanterns and laughter in the air. At its center, a gleaming platter of bright red crayfish glistens with dill and sea salt, the crown jewel of the evening.
